Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Our brains are wired for connection, and social medicine—the power of community, shared experience, and meaningful relationships—plays a vital role in regulating the nervous system and fostering resilience.
In this experiential workshop with Betsy Orsini, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Marga Fripp, trauma-informed Expressive Art Therapist, we’ll explore how neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself—can support healing from stress, trauma, and emotional pain. Through Qigong, Yoga, nature, expressive writing, art therapy, breathwork, and mindfulness, we’ll tap into science-backed practices that help reshape thought patterns, regulate emotions, and restore balance.
Through guided exercises and discussion, you’ll learn how to gently shift from suffering to strength, using both inner resources and the healing power of connection. No prior experience needed—just an open heart and a willingness to explore transformation together.
Free of charge. Donations are welcome and support our transformative programs for those who need them most. Tea Reception and light snacks after the workshop.
