Journey to Wholeness I Art Journaling and Writing for Self-Care and Emotional Healing


Feb 20, March 5, 19, April 2, 16, 10:30 am- 12:00 pm - During this series of 5 art journaling and writing classes, we will work in a journal to come in touch with our emotions, give them voice and release what's no longer in our highest purpose. Explore your inner world, unleash your imagination, and find renewed joy, courage, and wisdom.

These bi-weekly sessions offer a safe place to process emotions through a unique blend of creative self-care practices including drawing, collage, mixed media, body movement, prose, and poetry, writing insightful dialogues and letters, and working with images, found words, and symbols.

The benefits of this creative practice include:

  • cultivating joy, gratitude, and positive emotions

  • managing stress and releasing fears and limiting beliefs

  • connecting to your body’s wisdom and awakening your inner healer

  • feeling empowered, seen, and heard

  • a sense of possibility, togetherness and belonging

Classes Dates: Tue., Feb 20, March 5, 19, April 2, 16, 10:30 am-12:00 pm at our Hive at Folkmoot

Resources: Please bring a mixed-media journal (9x12 inch), a favorite writing pen, and a set of colored pens. All other art materials are provided along with compassionate facilitation, soothing music, herbal tea, and aromatherapy. No art skills are needed. Sliding Scale Fee: $15-30/class. Offer a contribution, or register at no charge if unable to pay.
